The interactive multimedia educational CD ROM titled “Animal Discovery Learning
Game” designed and developed by Sudiksha Learning Dimensions, Bangalore
and produced by EDC Inc, Bangalore (a USAID funded project) wins the first place
at Manthan Awards, New Delhi on August 5, 2006.
There were over 270 nominees from across India competing in 13 categories for
excellence in e-content and creativity. The awards were given away at the “International
Conference on e-content and Sustainability”. The Animal Discovery Learning
game has over 10 hours of content about Animal Characteristics, Classification
of Animals and Animal Fun Facts. It can be played by a maximum of 5 teams across
several sessions. The project took over 12 months to design, develop and test.
